Winter Is Coming…

As the year's outside demands begin to wane, my writing time finally expands. I'm deep into my first draft and, on the side, prepping a short story for another shot at Writer’s Digest's contest. I've got a mix of fresh ideas and some partial pieces from my own collection. This time, I’m eyeing a couple of their contests. The short short story, at a mere 1,500 words max, was a real challenge last year. Shifting gears from a long story mindset to the quick sprint of a 1,500-word tale is a real mindset change and a fun challenge. Time to relax with the dogs and random YouTube videos 😁.  Take Care!
